Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

Is an abortion any less invasive than a dental filling" Every dentist, every veterinarian, even every barber shop, in Virginia has to maintain health standards of cleanliness and safety. Public pools are required to have defibrillators on site. No one who cares about young women would send them to have surgery on dirty tables and chairs without basic life saving equipment within reach. Planned Parenthood alone is a $1 billion industry. It has the money to bring its abortion centers into compliance with these reasonable health and safety standards. It simply has to choose if it is going to spend it on womens health instead of political campaigns. Please put people above profits and politics -- vote to keep these common sense requirements in place!
