All evidence shows that these regulations are unnecessary and are specifically designed to limit provision of and access to abortion in Virginia.  There has never been any demonstration of risk to patients or of poor outcomes higher than those expected for this kind of procedure in clinics prior to these regulations.  These regulations are an overt attack on women's constitutionally protected right to choose to safely end a pregnancy.  They have no basis in science or in fact and must be repealed in their entirety now.
