As a Registered Nurse with a Masters Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing from The Catholic University of America, I am firmly in favor of standards of care for abortion clinics. The goal of an abortion clinic is to terminate pregnancies, but please do all you can to not terminate the life of the mother along with the life of the baby.Some people will argue that there is not a baby involved. But if there is no baby, then why does the mother need an abortion. It is because there IS a baby present. There are better answers than abortion for problem of "unwanted" pregnancies. Let us work together to find better solutions than terminating a human life--especially in clinics which endanger the life of the mother as well. Mary Bell
