Greater regulation and enforcement is needed

I want to make something very clear; I do not condone or approve of Abortion.  I believe that life starts at conception.  Abortion is nothing more than manslaughter.  Humanity needs to stand up for unborn children’s rights.  Everyone deserves a chance to live life to its fullest.  Who are we to play God?

With that said, I believe that the standards for such facilities across the nation are too relaxed.  Let Virginia set the standard for the nation to follow.  We need to increase standards to the same level Hospitals and medical clinics are held to.  The building codes for all clinic’s and abortion facilities need to held to the same building codes of hospitals and emergency rooms.  Before an abortion clinic or abortion facilities are granted for approval to operate, the clinic or facilities need to be inspected to ensure that the facilities are within specific building code.  This will ensure that the facilities are safe for any woman who chooses to have an abortion and when need first responders and emergency equipment are available when abortion procedures go bad.  The standard needs to include counseling for all women considering an abortion and parental notification and approval for minors.

This regulation also needs to include punitive fines and criminal charges to be enforced on individuals, business and organizations that violate the standards outlined in the standard.   Audits of the clinics and abortion facilities need to be conducted monthly to ensure compliance to women safety and to ensure that women and families that are considering an abortion are receiving counseling.  If an individual, business or organizations who provide these abortion services are repeat offenders of this regulation, a statement need to be added that will close down a business or organization as well as revoke all licenses required to provide abortion services and give prosecutors to proceed with criminal charges against violators.
