I urge you to protect women by upholding safety and health standards when it comes to abortion clinics. Staff must be trained and work in a clean, health conscience environment. These are simply basic needs that any person is entitled to when going to any doctor. Any violation must be attended to promptly to ensure the safety of all considered. Emergencies can and do happen often with these procedures and the rooms and building must be to code to ensure that all safety and life saving equipment can be utilized in a medical crisis.In just two years, inspections have exposed widespread health and safety violations including blood splattered exam tables and equipment, unsterilized needles, incomplete lifesaving equipment, violations of Virginia parental consent laws, an absence of reporting of possible cases of child abuse, and many more deficiencies. This can not continue and put women at greater risk because these agencies put more money in political funding rather than compliance of safety standards. Please enforce the requirement to make all abortion clinics to abide by safety and health codes and shut them down until they do so. Lives depend on it. Michelle Huber
