I am the mother of four children, and I have lived in Virginia for 24 years, most recently since 1999.  I respectfully request that you do not impair my constitutional right to decide when and if I continue a pregnancy.  Because I have been pregnant five times (I miscarried my first pregnancy), I do not take lightly the importance of a woman's relationship with her health care provider.   These regulations will not keep me safer nor will they make abortion for any woman safer.  They are deisgned to shut down clinics which provide abortion in Virginia.  These rules are designed to make abortion more dangerous for women who seek it.  They will bring shame on the Commonwealth of Virginia as a place where the state is determined to deny women their Constitutional rights.  These rules are a fraud on the women of the Commonwealth and on the medical professionals who provide abortions.  Please reject these clinic-closing rules as the travesty against justice that they are.
