Permanent Abortion Facility Regulations Help Protect Women’s Health

I strongly support the current regulations on abortion centers approved overwhelmingly by the Board of Health.  These regulations should be made permanent and continue to include the strongest standards.

The current regulations are reasonable, common-sense measures to ensure that life-saving equipment is on hand, infections are prevented, and clear written policies and building guidelines are in place.  Please maintain strong permanent abortion facility regulations to protect the health and safety of women.

It is a tragedy that we end the lives of innocent unborn children in this country. But let's not make it worse by putting women in additional harm's way with unsanitary conditions and facilities that cannot be easily accessed in the event of emergencies. Sadly, such emergencies occur and they have ended the lives of many women (not to mention ending the lives of their unborn children).

Do not allow the abortion industry to shape our state's laws in their favor and at the cost of women's health.
