I wrote the VA Board of Health last year urging them not to force health care centers to close because they cannot afford the new renovations required by the state. I thought the proposal was to grandfather the existing centers from these new requirements a reasonable compromise. Unfortunately, our Attorney General does not believe in compromise. Women in VA need more access to high quality health care, not less.
