The Virginia Board of Health's proposed regulations that restrict safe and appropriate access to first tri-mester abortion and to reproductive health care are an abuse of womens'  rights to control their own bodies in a medically safe and approved manner.

It is an embarassment to live in a state in which a woman's right to control her own health decisions may become one of the most "backwards" states in the United States.  Virginia deserves better! 

I  urge you to quit bending to the extreme politics of the political "right" and to do what is "right" for Virginia's women by amending these regulations so as not to impede womens' access to preventive, essential, safe, and legal health care services. Thank you.
