Protect women’s access to reproductive health care and stop playing politics at patient expense

The proposed permanent regulations against women's health centers are not medically necessary and do nothing more than play politics, putting women's health in jeopardy. These regulations are actually extensive and burdensome requirements for clinic buildings that are unrelated to the services they provide and will only reduce or eliminate patient access to health care.

Abortion is a safe and legal medical procedure. Women in Virginia need access to this aspect of healthcare. The high standard of care provided by our women's health centers has been proven year after year by their impressive safety record. By allowing widespread regulation aimed at limiting the ability of a woman to legally get an abortion and which will permanently or temporarily close clinics, you're also putting her at risk for other reproductive health issues - including removing access to breast and cervical cancer screenings; STD prevention and treatment; and contraception.

Please stand up for women and fight back against those people who are trying to turn healthcare into a political tool. Women are watching and we need your help.
