This issue is one of religion vs medical science.  It is incumbent upon the legislature and the Board of Health to safeguard the health and safety of the community, but that is not what is happening here. There is not a medical basis for newly mandated requirements.  There is no data showing there is a need for more strigent regulations.  This is ideology at work and as a government agency the Board of Health should make decisions based on facts, statistics, hard data and the testimony of medical doctors - not the political far right and fundamentalist groups.
