We believe that abortion terminates (often very painfully) the most innocent of all human beings; however, we know that it is legal in the United States.  We hope that someday soon Americans will no longer tolerate abortion.  Until that time, the health of the women who have abortions must be protected to the greatest degree possible.  After all, an abortion is not a simple procedure.  We support efforts to regulate abortion clinics in the same manner that hospitals are regulated.  Thank you for considering our views on this very serious matter.
