The emergency "regulations" for women's health centers need to be changed to ensure all women's access to any legal procedures they seek, most certainly including abortions. The regulations as currently written unjustly eliminate a Virginia woman's rights to control her own body.
Please "grandfather in" the architectural structure of any existent women's health center with a history of safety. Do not require new construction for existent facilities.
Preserve privacy: ownership information is not the business of the state department of health.
Re-write the regulation concerning inspection (eliminate 24/7 accessibility, and extend one-hour notice to a minimum of one day). Do not give random health department employees access to all manner of private and confidential patient records and allow them to remove them from the facility: re-write the regulations so that the right to privacy for patients at these centers is preserved.
