Women in Virginia (and everywhere) do deserve better. Laws like this clearly target poor women--well-off abortion patients will be able to pay increased costs or travel out-of-state for reasonably-priced medical care. The poor will be stuck in Virginia, unable to pay the costs at the newer, more expensive clinics, and will end up finding someone working outside the law--like Brigham--to go to.
