Using regulations for control over women's healthcare options

The health of the women of Virginia is threatened by the kinds of medically inappropriate and unnecessarily burdensome regulations supported by our Governor.

Such regulations would restrict access to essential health care services for and further marginalize young, low-income, uninsured, and minority women by decreasing their health care options.

Regulations placed on women's health centers must be based upon evidence-based medical practices that advance the public health so that women in the Commonwealth will be able to maintain access to vital health care from trusted medical providers.
