Vote NO on permanent changes to clinic regulations

Making the current TRAP regulations over clinics that offer reproductive counseling, family planning, health screenings and first trimester abortions is UNNECESSARY and OVERBURDENSOME.  These regulations are a direct attack on Virginia Women's FEDERAL right to access abortion services, and her right to control her own body and reproductive processses.

If these type of invasive and medically un-supported regulations are made permanent, they will guarantee greater risk to women who seek abortions outside safe and legitimate medical centers.  It will limit access, especially to low-income and uninsured women, to cancer screenings, STD testing and safe family planning counseling and prescriptions.  It puts women of all ages at risk to PREVENTABLE diseases.

Moreover, these regulations fly in the face of every modern population study that proves financial stability and economic success of any nation or region rests in the ability of a woman to control her family size.  Limiting access to abortions, birth control and reproductive health screenings doesn't bolster families and communities - IT THREATENS THEM.

Repeal TRAP laws in Virginia, now.  Don't make them pernament.
