Dear Regulartory Commission of the Virginia Department of Health,
I am opposed to your new proposed regulations that will permanently shutdown many healthcare clinics.
1. The regulations are burdensome and unnecessary. They have no medical benefit or protections, they will only reduce or eliminate access to healthcare services.
2. These regulations will increase the finacial burden on women, who need more access to affordable, high quality healthcare, not less.
3. These limits do not improve safety, but instead limit access to many preventative services and healthcare screening.
4. These regulations should be based on medicine and science, not on poltiics - which would impact the healthcare of women and underserved populations.
Thank you for your consideration.
