I urge the Board of Health to amend the pending regulations and protect access to legal abortions for the women of Virginia.

As I'm sure the board agrees, regulations concerning a legal medical procedure (even if some members find it distasteful) should be based solely on medical science. As proposed, the regulations are not only burdensome and unnecessary, they have no medical benefit. It is obvious to everyone, that this is simply an effort to circumvent both the law and the civil rights of Virginia's women. Please don't embarrass the state of Virginia any further.
