Regulations on abortion facility licensing

I am writing to express my intense disagreement with the proposed regulations on abortion facilities. After reading the regulations and many articles and statements about them, it is my beliefe that the regulations are unnecessary to protect the health and safety of patients. They are overly burdensome of clinics that perform a relatively safe procedure compared to other types of clinics and outpatient centers performing other types of procedures (but not being imposed with similar regulations). Moreover, the regulations are more likely to endanger patients by limited their choices and access to a wide range of preventive reproductive health services. The proposal and consideration of these regulations, which appear to be made on the basis of ideology over actual public health concerns and the proper role of the board, makes me question the integrity and good governance of the board. I hope that I am wrong, and that you will consider these issues in making your decision.
