Dear Governor Younkin,

Your proposal to not provide funding for the RGGI makes no sense to me. In this time of climate change, we need to do all we can to mitigate the ongoing destruction of our environment because of fossil fuel use. As you know, the RGGI is a leading factor in benefiting the clean air and water that Virginia citizens require now and in the future. In my view, your proposal is short-sighted, potentially harmful, and perhaps illegal when one considers the critical need for environmental protection in Virginia and elsewhere. I urge you to reverse your position on this matter!
