Keep VA in the RGGI

Keep Virginia in the RGGI. To repeal and withdraw Virginia would be extremely short-sighted.  With weekly news of stronger and more damaging weather events, it may be too late to turn back climate change, but we must at least try to lesson the impacts of greenhouse gases on climate change, for our own and our future progeny’s benefit. The earth will survive, but what will it look like?  Will humans be able to survive in such a world? Do we want our children and grandchildren to suffer because we were endlessly debating about limiting fossil fuels and making uncomfortable and costly changes? We need to change our dependence on fossil fuels and we need it now, even if it is painful; doing so will hopefully prevent future catastrophe.  Even if it does not, we need to try.  The RGGI is a step towards making changes in a responsible way.  It is working and Virginia needs to stay in it and fund it.
