As a recently retired US Air Force officer who has retired to Virginia, I am totally for the enactment of the proposed amendment to 4 VAC 10 - 30 - 170 which allows for the otherwise lawful carry of firearms and ammunition in Vriginia's state forests.  This long overdue amendment brings the state forests into alignment with state parks, national parks and national forests.
