VOTE NO on this policy

I oppose the policy proposed by the VDE that would notify parents of any sexually explicit materials assigned in their child's class.  More policing of teachers is what this policy is all about.  This policy is not needed as parents are already able to review their child's curriculum and serve on advisory boards for the public school system.  The true intent of this policy is to exclude information from a classroom based on a broad term "sexually explicit" and is completely unnecessary.
