Let teachers teach

I believe we should be allowing teachers to teach the content and have autonomy in their classrooms. This guidance document is overestimating the involvement that Virginia’s parents have in their child’s curriculum as it stands currently. Yes, parents should have a voice and be aware of what their kids are learning. But this guidance document is vague and dangerous. This is not the Handmaids Tale (a book that would be banned by self righteous parents under this document). Strongly oppose!
