To keep the power in the hands of the parents where it belongs, I strongly oppose this bill.  Parents already have the ability to monitor what their own child reads or views.  Putting the impetus on others such as school boards or teachers or librarians to police something so subjectively defined (the SB does not define "sexually explicit") takes the power away from the parent, and provides room for control and censorship that can block access to information at the whim of anyone who can put themselves in one of these positions of power.  I support diverse and inclusive curriculum that is free from censorship in order that our children can develop into proficient and informed citizens.
