Guidance Document Change: In 2021, the Virginia General Assembly passed House Bill 1904 and Senate Bill 1196, and was signed into law by Governor Northam. The law establishes new requirements to support culturally competent educators in the Commonwealth. The Guidance on Cultural Competency Training for Teachers and Other Licensed School Board Employees in Virginia Public Schools was developed for the Board to fulfill the statutory mandate to provide guidance on the minimum standards for the local training requirement.

Stop indoctrination - Teachers and children deserve academic exellence not CRT

Over the past six years, The Virginia Board of Education has clandestinely weaved Critical Race Theory in and out of every school curriculum in Virginia.  The Virginia school system has evolved into a racially charged machine attempting to separate our children by race.  Do not insult us with your interpretation of CRT.  Critical Race Theory is definitely weaved into the Virginia school system to include the Campbell County schools.

Your responsibility is the education of our children in Reading, Writing and Mathmatics.  Not to indoctrinate or create Social emotional programs that clandestinely support CRT.  There is no room in our schools for creating groupthink for the purpose of social or racial separation for political gain of any kind whatsoever.  The reality is that our issues are not by any one individual but by the community as a whole.  The Virginia Department of Education, the Federal Department of Education are dead wrong.

This past election cycle has shown the determination and power of the parents and citizens of Virginia.  Parents and citizens of Virginia want you to address their issues at school board meetings, the education of our children.  “All history must be taught, the good the bad and the ugly.”  The prime issue is to teach every child the importance of their character not to segregate students by race or class.  This is not the only issue that concerns this community.  Transgender and sexual orientation is another topic for later discussion.  If you cannot or will not be our voice or meet our needs, we will replace you at every election cycle one-by-one.

Happy New Year!
