Virginia suffered the worst math decline in the nation because of progressive pedagogy embraced by VDOE, VEA, and other teachers unions. Teachers are stretched too thin on all this ancillary training. Let’s focus on actual math, reading, grammar, and maybe even restoring order, discipline, and common courtesy in schools. No CRT, No Social/Emotional Learning, No Cultural Competency. Yes to actual education.
