Guidance Document Change: In 2021, the Virginia General Assembly passed House Bill 1904 and Senate Bill 1196, and was signed into law by Governor Northam. The law establishes new requirements to support culturally competent educators in the Commonwealth. The Guidance on Cultural Competency Training for Teachers and Other Licensed School Board Employees in Virginia Public Schools was developed for the Board to fulfill the statutory mandate to provide guidance on the minimum standards for the local training requirement.

We the People See You

The deplorables that run businesses, cut your grass, fix your cars, pick up your trash, police your streets, stock your shelves, transport your goods, put out your fires, educate your children… see what you are teaching in school. We balance our accounts, do not spend more than we make, provide for our families and get through life without over-educated, under-informed people telling us who and how to hate. There are countries where your racist propaganda would be welcomed so go there. Parents are more informed than ever and we see all that has been done to our kids. Some escaped communist countries and dictators to be here. They will not allow propaganda to divide our children.
