I am a supporter of vaccines in the interest of public health and for the health of my children. With that being said I am not in support of a vaccine mandate for the Covid vaccine. The Covid vaccine is not a sterilizing vaccine which means  by mandating the vaccine you are not stopping the spread of this disease. Covid vaccination does not stop infection or prevent people from spreading it to others.  Furthermore the mandate does not take into account natural immunity and religious exemption. The risk benefit for this vaccine is not there yet for children. Please consider pressing pause on a mandate until more data has been collected.
