The science is clear that COVID vaccines have saved lives and could have saved so many more lives if vaccine hesitancy was not so prevalent in the US.  Misinformation from the anti-vaccination community and from politicized forums are distracting from guidance from experts and the medical community that the vaccines are safe and will protect children from contracting COVID.  Vaccines need to be mandated for general health and safety of the community, just like other mandatory vaccines for children.
