NO VACCINE MANDATE FOR CHILDREN

The petitioner fails to take into account that infections may be acquired and transmitted even amongst the vaccinated per the CDC’s COVID-19 Vaccines and Vaccination: Summary of Recent changes dated Oct. 15, 2021 (i.e. vaccinated persons can infect each other). Also the petitioner has not explained how a vaccinated person is “put at risk” by unvaccinated persons (vaccinated or unvaccinated persons can infect each other). The schools would STILL shut down at the same or similar rate even where all identified and tagged vaccine-eligible students receive the vaccine, because students will continue to get infected. Children are our future and we should not use a barely tested vaccine on them en masse. We have no idea what happens to adults even 2 years after taking the vaccine, much less children. The petitioner urges action by the Dept. of Health on behalf of her daughter and and ALL other kids/students. She does not speak for my child.
