Teachers are awesome.  They love our kids.  They work overtime and NEVER - well almost never - mention their week night and weekend hours, spent catching up so they are ready for Monday morning.  SO HOW DARE YOU ARROGANT MOTHER suggest such a mandate on the entire STATE OF VIRGINIA! I don't care if my kid's teachers aren't vaccinated.  He/She IS and if I "trust" the vaccine I shouldnt' care who he/she interacts with indoors or outdoors or anywhere.  I mostly trust the vaccine.  Just this weekend 3 of the 4 people I know who have tested positive had vaccines.  Only one of the 4 is unvaxd and tested postitive. She works from home and got it from her vaced husband who works outside the home. So lets not anticipate blaming teachers by mandating they be vaccined.  What if they all are, and STILL can get it/give it?  Its not our business to assume teachers give vax to our kids any more than we see bank assistant or grocery store cashier give it to us while the parents are out and about.  DONT PUT TEACHERS AND OTHER SCHOOL EMPLOYEES IN THIS POSITION> DONT create more problems.  DONT assume a mandate will do anythng helpful or good.  OH dear, this sad and sscared mom.  She needs a friend to speak some sanity into her life.
