Common Sense Needs to Make a Comeback

The board should NOT mandate Covid shots for employees and/or students. The very thought of issuing such a mandate is both premature and ill-advised. To date, there are no long-term medical studies or associated long-term data regarding the safety and efficacy of this experimental therapy. Increasingly, we see "vaccine mandates" issued universally...without ample regard for a person's naturally acquired immunity (via previous infection)...or due consideration given to the availability of provenly effective Covid therapeutics.

Many seem to be under the implied (yet erroneous) impression that an "UNVACCINATED" person should be viewed (and treated) the same as an "INFECTED" person. The bottom-line is that anyone who desires (and is able) to receive the Covid shot should be free to make that decision for themselves...just as those who make the choice not to get the shot should remain free to do so.

Coercing people to take an experimental therapy (whether it's implied by incentive...or overtly ordered by mandate) is not only unnecessary, it's also a gross overreach of government/bureaucratic authority. It obscenely tramples on the informed consent and bodily autonomy of the individual. At some point, common sense needs to make a comeback...and our liberty left unmolested.
