Action:
National Fire Protection Association 10: Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers DIBR Removal
Action 6913
General Information
| Action Summary |
Executive Order No 19 (2022) directed agencies to review regulatory guidance documents in an effort to reduce regulatory burden and streamline regulatory processes. The Department of Energy’s Division of Mineral Mines reviewed regulatory guidance related to Safety and Health Regulations for Mineral Mining and found opportunities to lesson regulatory burden by eliminating references to documents incorporated by reference (DIBR). Removal of the National Fire Protection Association 10: Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers, would remove 439 duplicative regulations—that are addressed under 4VAC25-40-610 concerning fire equipment regulations. |
