Status
Withdrawn 8/5/25
Objections Filed Per Code § 2.2-4012.1, ten or more objections from the public, or a legislative objection received. (7/23/25)

Reason:
REGISTRAR'S NOTICE: Pursuant to ยง 2.2-4012.1 of the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts has filed a notice of objection to the fast-track rulemaking action published in 41:19 VA.R. 2325-2327 June 2, 2025. EXPLANATION: This action, requested by the Governor's Executive Order 19 (2022) to reduce regulation, would have shortened or removed four redundant sentences related to the posting of operating hours, and the use of walkways on campus by cyclists and pedestrians. Zero of the 27 comments stated an objection to the substance of these changes. However, ten of them did mention the fast-track process. Therefore, this fast-track process has been ended and these discretionary regulations on the public will remain in place.
