The petition will be published on October 11, 2021 in the Register of Regulations and also posted on the Virginia Regulatory Townhall at www.townhall.virginia.gov to receive public comment ending November 10, 2021.   Following receipt of all comments on the petition to amend regulations, the Board will decide whether to make any changes to the regulatory language. This matter may also be discussed at the Board meeting on October 19, 2021 in the context of a periodic review of regulations. The petitioner will be informed of its decision.

At its meeting on March 8, 2022, the Board adopted a Guidance Document on supervision of assistants that is intended to assist licensees in the utilization of unlicensed persons in their practice. The document (Guidance Document 30-4) will be posted on the Virginia Regulatory Townhall with an open comment period from March 28th to April 28th. The public may access the document on the Comment Forum page of Townhall at: https://townhall.virginia.gov/L/Forums.cfm. After the comment period, the document will be posted on the website for the Board.
