Under the general notice, Announcing the Availability of the 2018 Annual Monitoring Plan (http://townhall.virginia.gov/L/ViewNotice.cfm?gnid=809), the DEQ requested citizen nominations of state surface waters for inclusion in the 2019 Annual Water Quality Monitoring Plan. Due to a technical issue, the nomination period has been extended to May 18, 2018.
Citizens can nominate portions of lakes, streams, and rivers of Virginia for water quality monitoring by VADEQ. Nominations received between January 1 and May 18, 2018 will be considered for inclusion in VADEQ’s 2019 Annaul Water Quality Monitoring Plan.
