The Westmoreland County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 20, 2026, starting at 1:30 P.M., in the George D. English Sr. Memorial Building, 111 Polk Street, Montross, Virginia. The following cases are under consideration for Wetlands Board approval:

 

Case# 1508- David and Sandra McElhaney, and Co-owner Mandy McHugh 4240 Windermere View Place Woodbridge, VA 22192 and 1043 North Glebe Road Montross, VA 22520 respectively request Wetlands Board approval to construct two low profile groins, extension of an existing

timber groin, construction of a stone revetment, and proposed beach nourishment. The project is located adjacent to 1047 North Glebe Road, Tax map Numbers 26K2-1-A and 26-1E. VMRC #2026-0299

 

Copies of the applications and other information are available for public review during regular business hours in the Land Use Administration office, in the George D. English Sr. Memorial Building, 111 Polk Street, Montross, VA.

 

Individuals needing special accommodations should contact the Land Use Administration office prior to the hearing.
