MIDDLESEX COUNTY WETLANDS BOARD PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

November17,2025

The Middlesex County Wetlands Board has received Joint Permit Application# 2025-1944 from Dawn W. Toney. This application requests for to install a Quickreef living shoreline with a total length of 264 linear feet and 50 linear feet of bulkhead to be repaired with vinyl sheet-pile directly waterward of existing structure within the jurisdiction of the Middlesex County Wetlands Board. The proposed project is located on the Piankatank River at Tax Map Parcel #37A-6-182. 61 Lakeside Drive

 

Pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Middlesex County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on this application on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Board Room of the Historic Courthouse at 865 General Puller Highway, Saluda, Virginia. This letter serves as your official notice as required by applicable laws. You may attend the public hearing to state your views regarding this application, or you may submit written comments to the Wetlands Office at any time prior to the public hearing.

Replace 108 bulkhead, 26'X14' walkway under Gazebo, 52'X8' walkway, 64'X8' walkway, replace decking for 40'X10' and 10'X10' L-head, 12'X6' decking, 51'X6' walkway, and 193'X8' walkway within the jurisdiction of the Middlesex County Wetlands Board. The proposed project is located on Jackson Creek at Tax Map Parcel #41-72-A. 499 Jackson Creek Drive
