Chesapeake Bay Board Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the following public hearing will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Boardroom of the New Kent County Administration Building located at 12007 Courthouse Circle in New Kent, Virginia. The New Kent County Wetlands Board may or may not take action on the following:

• Application JPA-026041-2025, submitted by HDR Inc, for tidal wetland impacts associated with a proposed bridge replacement for a railway located east of Whitehouse Rd terminus and adjacent to properties 11821 Whitehouse Rd (Tax Map: 12-1B, GPIN: O17-1187-3780) and 11900 Whitehouse Rd (Tax Map: 12-3A, O17-1293-4369). 

This letter serves as official notice as required by applicable laws. Questions concerning this public hearing may be directed to the Environmental Division at (804) 966-8580. All interested persons may appear and present their views at the above time and place. Copies of the application may be viewed in the Environmental Division office during regular business hours. Anyone requiring special accommodations under the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act should call the County Administration office at (804) 966-9683 at least 24 hours in advance of the hearings. If a meeting cannot be held due to inclement weather, the meeting will be held on the next Thursday the New Kent County Offices are open.
