LEGO Manufacturing Virginia Inc. provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documentation for an 18-megawatt alternating current (MWAC) photovoltaic (PV) solar facility permit by rule for a small renewable energy project. The project will be constructed and operated in Chesterfield County, pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60, at 1400 Meadowville Road in Chester, Virginia. The project entrance is located at latitude and longitude coordinates 37.36786011, -77.33083112 and will utilize approximately 39,200 PV modules, each with the dimensions of 92” x 42” x 1.25”.
