PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Middlesex County Wetlands Board has received Joint Permit Application #2025-1535 from Lois Dawson. This application requests to install an 8' wide by 8'6" tall x 3-4' thick rip rap revetement on severely eroded bank within the jurisdiction of the Middlesex County Wetlands Board. The proposed project is located on Whitings Creek at Tax Map Parcel #28-133. 217 Whiting Cove Rd

Pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Middlesex County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on this application on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Board Room of the Historic Courthouse at 865 General Puler Highway, Saluda, Virginia. This letter serves as your official notice as required by applicable laws. You may attend the public hearing to state your views regarding this application, or you may submit written comments to the Wetlands Office at any time prior to the public hearing.

The contents of this application are available for examination at the Wetlands Office, Department of Planning and Community Development, in the Historic Courthouse, 865 General Puller Hwy., Saluda, VA 23149; our offices are open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
