Gloucester County Wetlands Board Meeting: Notice is hereby given of a Gloucester County Wetlands
Board hearing to be held Wednesday July 9, 2025, at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held in the Colonial
Courthouse, Court Circle - Gloucester, Virginia. All interested parties are invited to attend the meeting and
express their views. Citizen comments may also be submitted prior to the public hearing by two different
methods:
follow the instructions on the form to indicate your comments are for this specific public hearing.
Comments may be submitted by US Mail to County Administration, ATTN: PUBLIC HEARING, 6489
Main Street, Gloucester, VA 23061. Any mailed comments must include your name, your magisterial district,
and the title of this public hearing clearly printed at the top, and all such comments must be received by the
scheduled date of this hearing. Please type or print all comments legibly.
Comments submitted through one of these methods prior to the public hearing must be received by the
County no later than the close of business on July 9, 2025, and will be read during the public hearing.
“Form letters,” consisting of communications which are verbatim duplicates (other than the identifying
information of the author/submitter) of one or more other communications received by the County
pertaining to the matter to be considered at the public hearing or public comment period, shall be read only
once per letter, along with the list of persons submitting the same comments pursuant to such “form letter”.

VMRC 25-0867 Damon Horsley seeking authorization for construction of a riprap revetment and bulkhead
extension at Tax Map 34-269 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
VMRC 25-0888 Dennis & Vickie Roddy seeking authorization for construction of two Gabion Cage
breakwaters at Tax Map 47-135 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
VMRC 25-1140 Haggerty Living Trust seeking authorization for construction of (3) breakwater structures,
beach nourishment and plantings at Tax Map 27-18 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
VMRC 25-1180 William & Melinda Montgomery seeking authorization for a living shoreline using stone
breakwater/groin structures, beach nourishment, and plantings at Tax Map 36-2 in Gloucester County,
Virginia.
VMRC 25-1181 David & Vickie Nance seeking authorization for a living shoreline using stone
breakwater/groin structures, beach nourishment, and plantings at Tax Map 36-1A in Gloucester County,
Virginia.
VMRC 25-1215 William Jones & Sharon Crowder seeking authorization for approximately 240’ of
shoreline stabilization at Tax Map 50B(4)BK A-20 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
VMRC 25-1217 Tiger Enterprises, Inc. seeking authorization for construction of a breakwater, sand
nourishment, and plantings at Tax Map 26-88 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
VMRC 25-1218 Ingeborg Marie Katharina Glasel seeking authorization for construction of a breakwater,
marsh sill, sand nourishment, and plantings at Tax Map 27-30 in Gloucester County, Virginia.
