Wild Rose Solar Project, LLC provided the Department of Environmental Quality a notice of intent to submit the necessary documents for a permit by rule for a small renewable energy project (solar) in Nelson County, pursuant to Virginia Regulation 9VAC15-60. Wild Rose Solar Project will be located at 171 Buck Mountain Lane in Gladstone, Virginia, with latitude and longitude coordinates for the project centroid at 37.5817508, -78.8811615. The proposed project is a 90-megawatt (“MW”) alternating current (“AC”) photovoltaic (“PV”) ground-mounted solar facility. The proposed total project area is approximately 2,470 acres with approximately 650 acres of disturbance and will utilize approximately 217,608 photovoltaic panels.
