PUBLIC NOTICE – WETLANDS BOARD
Pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, notice is hereby given to
all interested parties that the Richmond County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on
Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., Public Meeting Room, 101 Court Circle, Warsaw,
Virginia, in order to consider the following applications for a Richmond County Wetlands Permit:
? Perch Creek, LLC, 1090 Skipjack Rd. Kinsale, VA, 22488 has applied for permission to
construct a 290’ rip-rap revetment and construct 402’ of vinyl bulkhead along their
Rappahannock River and Morattico Creek shoreline, located at 787 Oakley Lane, and
further identified as Parcel 71A of Tax Map 43. (VMRC#24-2812)
? Charles Jefferson, Henrico, VA, has applied for permission to remove and replace two (2)
timber groins along their Rappahannock River shoreline, located at 2210 Suggetts Point
Road, and further identified as Parcel 38A of Tax Map 35. (VMRC#24-2856)
All interested parties will be afforded the opportunity to be heard and are requested to submit a
concise written statement and/or attend the Public Hearing to offer oral comments. The
aforementioned application is on file in the office of the Land Use Administrator.
