The Northampton County Wetlands Board will meet and conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Board Chambers located at 16404 Courthouse Road in Eastville, VA, to consider the following wetlands/coastal primary sand dunes matter and conduct regular business. A site visit to the property will be conducted on the same date, starting at 8:00 a.m.
VMRC 2024-2238: Jennifer Latka & Brad Goehle are applying for a permit to dismantle failing rip rap revetment and re-working into a rip rap for scouring within Wetlands Board Jurisdiction. Including sand nourishment replenishment between rip rap bank toe and breakwater. The property is located on Sand Hill Drive, Cape Charles, VA, and is further described as Tax Map 104D-1-14 along the shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay.
