Title Correctional Enterprises

Summary The Board supports & encourages the DOC's employment of inmates in Correctional Enterprises industrial prison jobs (upholstery, furniture building, printing, commercial laundry) to produce goods or services for sale. The Board supports agreements between the DOC Director & public or private entities to operate a work program in a state correctional facility. In such programs, inmates are paid prevailing wages & are required to return the majority of earnings to pay court costs, restitution, child support, & a portion of prison housing costs.
