Action | 2015 Voter Registration Application Regulation and Form Update |
Stage | Proposed |

The proposal to remove an overt declaration of citizenship can only be seen as an attempt to encourage those who are not qualified to participate in US elections. In a representative republic, the integrity of the elections system is paramount. Votor Registration applications should CLEARLY indicate that this process is reserved for legal US Citizens who are qualified by US law to participate in voting. Rather than removing this language, I would propose that you embolden it.
