These unnecessary regulations are being put in place for one explicit purpose - to close down facilities that offer safe, legal abortions to women.  This is a sad time in Virginia history and a sad time in Women's history when services that save women's lives are being taken away through back door, sneaky regulations.  Putting regulations on older facilities that are perfectly safe and have not killed any women or caused more (HAI) hospital aquired infections than the most up to date clinical facilities in Virginia.  It is maneuverings on the part of government officials that have their own personal and political agenda in mind and not the health and safety of womem.  this has to stop.  Please keep our abortion facilities open - not just to provide abortions, but to provide sorely needed reproductive health services to women.
