My husband and I (both registered voters) are very much AGAINST the enactment of the TRAP laws.  We know that the proposal to make clinics comply with more strict building codes or other such new regulations are all politically motivated by Republican candidates seeking state office positions, including Governor and Attorney General.  Please consider that these clinics do not just provide abortions. They serve women of all ages who have no health insurance.  Women in my family have gone to these clinics for just that reason: no health insurance at their jobs. Yes, they have jobs and are not on welfare, but they, too, need these clinics to be open.  Abortion is legal in the United States; any targeted effort to restrict that freedom is just plain WRONG!  In trying to restrict this one medical procedure, many clinics will have to close.  That's WRONG!!  Women need these clinics. It's not just for abortions!!!!  Do not give in to the pressure of the people behind these moves. Women deserve health care options!!
